  • Victoria's Parliament Buildings An architectural feast - outside and inside too. Update this link to:

  • The Butchart Gardens World famous and rightly so. You have to go here, or be ready with an answer to the folks back home when they ask, "Surely you went to the Gardens?"

  • Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse. Park-like setting with great ocean views. Great nautical and military history, too!

  • Whale Watching – check out not just our whales but all kinds of aquatic life with one of the many outfits in town. Prince of Whales, Orca Spirit Adventures, Eagle Wing Tours, Ocean Explorations and more.

  • The Empress Hotel – A Victoria centrepiece, full of history and wonderful stories. Just down the street from the Admiral Inn.

  • Craigdarroch Castle An interesting taste of upper-crust Victoria history.

  • Miniature World. All the kids love it and adult guests are delighted too.

  • Royal London Wax Museum. As good as an in-the-flesh look at a host of celebrities.

  • Undersea Gardens. Divers(e) aspects of ocean life.

  • Mineral World Family Adventure: gem collecting, gold-panning, fossil digging.

  • Government House Where the Queen stays when she visits!

  • Butterfly Gardens (Summer). You'll be tickled.

  • • Centre of the Universe The biggest show on Earth!

  • Carillon Tower - all the bells (no whistles) Just outside the Royal BC Museum, and just down the street from the Admiral.

  • Government House and Gardens - a tranquil setting for a grand house and garden.

  • Fisherman's wharf - fish, crabs etc for sale + Barb's Fish and Chips. A short walk from the Admiral’s front door. (no specific link to Fisherman’s wharf, just businesses around and in it. Maybe link to a new map page that shows things like this, like Beacon Hill Park, Willows & Caddy Bay beach, etc?)

  • University of Victoria - a beautiful campus, and gardens.
