The Admiral's Choice for Victoria Afternoon Tea, and other meals too……..Tel: 598-1413

The Blethering Place Tea Room & Restaurant has a charming atmosphere of Old English elegance. It is located ten minutes from downtown Victoria in a lovely village, dotted with quaint shops and arts & crafts cottages: Oak Bay.

The international hospitality is sincere and some say legendary. Just introduce yourself to the owner Ken Agate and see for yourself. He's always happy to chat. As well as Afternoon Tea with all those English Scones dripping with Strawberry Jam and Real Cream (I'm drooling at the thought) the restaurant also serves sumptuous full course meals. It also features a large selection of English Toffees and imported British gift items.

In the evenings relax and enjoy Victoria's exceptional entertainment: Every Saturday: ** British Night ** - enjoy song, magic and laughter. Mondays to Thursday: A variety of local talented musicians.

In the summertime you can take the Oak Bay Explorer to and from Oak Bay. This double-decker bus stops in front of the Admiral every hour and costs a dollar or so per person. A super and economical way to see some of Victoria - from the top deck.
